Hunter is one of the 18 Jobs available to players. To get started, all you need is a bow and arrows.

Hunters gain xp and money for archery and hunting animals. Additionally, you earn income and xp from taming wild animals and crafting containment and spawn eggs. Please refer to /j info hunter.

Containment Eggs are used to capture and store various types of mobs on the server. As a Hunter, you can craft three types of Containment Eggs: Leather, Iron, and Gold.

At level 10 Hunters unlock the ability to use /track. Tracking has a range of 100 blocks (+/-32 vertically) and always works in areas where monsters can spawn.

Note: There is a 5-minute cooldown before you begin to breed an animal that has been spawned with a Containment Egg.

Animal traps are a form of capturing wild animals. Animal traps can only be crafted and placed by a Hunter.

How to Craft a Trap

The recipe for a trap is 8 iron bars (iron bars or also referred to as iron fences, not be confused with iron ingots) surrounding the ingredient for the respective animal. To trap certain animals, the trap is required to be placed in their corresponding biome.

As you level Hunter, you also gain access to special arrows that can be accessed by shift left-clicking while holding a bow.

At level 30 Hunters can begin to craft their respective job bags, however, these job bags can only hold items relevant to the job.

  • Small Job Bag at level 30, crafted with 2 sturdy branches and 1 feather, holds 18 items.
  • Large Job Bag at level 40, crafted with 4 sturdy branches and 1 feather, holds 36 items.
  • Huge Job Bag at level 50, crafted with 6 sturdy branches and 1 feather, holds 54 items.
