Octagami's Omniverse (or Omni) is a server network that specializes in Survival PvE. It also includes an arena game server Trident, and a Creative build contest server Genesis. Survival PvE is comprised of multiple Towny servers, a server for resource gathering Wastelands, a player shop server Shop, and an event server Casino.
One of the first things you will do on Octagami's Omniverse is pick your jobs. You can browse and select 2 jobs by using the command /j select or right-clicking the sign at spawn. You can see which job actions gain job xp/money using /j info [job name]. The higher your job level is, the more money you earn for each task!
The next thing you do is decide whether to create a town or ask to join one. You can specify your choice using the /townchoice menu.
If you choose to create a town, you will be teleported directly to a town world. You will be placed in a random location that is unsettled, but you may wish to wander around the until you find a spot that you think is ideal for your new town. Once you find a suitable spot, type /t new [town name] to claim a 3x3 chunk area (48x48 blocks). Each chunk claim you would like to make after this costs $100, which can deposited into your town bank using /t deposit 100.
If you decide to join a town, you will have instead need to wait until a player responds to your recruitment request by sending you an teleport request. Once they do, use /tpaccept and then wait to be invited to their town. Use /accept to confirm their town invite. You will then need speak with the player who invited you for further instructions about how to settle in to your new town.Great job! You've created/joined a town and have picked jobs to join. Good luck on whatever you decide to do, whether it is building exquisite structures, is dominating the economy, or being a fearless warrior mowing down monsters in your path.
|About The Server|
The owners (Octagami and Lindsu), with the help of Xor and Zemoj, created Monuments and Mayhem on March 8th, 2012. The server started out as a humble one-world server with a low player base and over time, it quickly grew. Over time, the player cap was raised, more custom features were added, and more worlds were brought in. As the player cap rose, Octagami's Mayhem Multiverse was released to allow more servers and more areas for players to expand. Almost 5 years later, the new server Octagami's Omniverse launched to provide players with a challenging survival experience.
