====== What is a Ban Appeal? ======

A Ban Appeal is a system that allows someone that has been banned by a staff member for performing a rule breaking action (such as x-ray, fly-hacks, chat harassment and griefing) to gain a sort of "second chance" on the server. By posting an appeal, you are to point out what you have done as well as your apology. If given proper reason, they can be forgiven and allowed to play on the server again.

When making a ban appeal, you must post a new thread in the ban appeal section of the forums [[https://www.omniverse.rocks/forums/ban-appeal/|BAN APPEALS]]

=== What Do I Say? ===
When writing a ban appeal, the following needs to be understood:
:You must provide your full minecraft name. This needs to be in the title
::If possible, you must provide any previous names used on the minecraft server.
:You must provide the date of which you were issued the ban. (ex. "I was banned on March 6, 2016)
:You must provide a clear reason why you was banned. (One can't simply say, "I was banned for something stupid," as this is not acceptable.)
: You must provide a clear reason of why you should be unbanned.
*When viewing your appeal, the Moderator that issued the ban is to reply to the appeal within 24 hours. If said Moderator does not fulfill this action, another Moderator will reply with the verdict.
:<b> In no point should a player reply to a Ban Appeal, EVER.</b>
*<b>PLEASE NOTE</b> - If forgiven once and you are banned again, policy states that to be forgiven and unbanned a second time, you MUST wait six months to one year.
:Another note - If posting multiple appeals, there is a high possibility that your forum account will also be banned. Be patient and wait it out.

**Reason for Banning:** Refusal to remove X-Ray after 3 confrontations with Moderators.\\
**Reason for Unbanning:** After being banned, I realized that I was in the wrong and should've read the rules more carefully. I have since then removed my X-Ray modification from my Minecraft Client. You have my word that this incident should never happen again.
