I don't know if this is a bug or an intended consequence for repairing a sword with sharpness VI, but I no longer have sharpness VI on my sword, it is now just sharpness V. Please let me know if this is a bug or if I messed up big time.

In a regular anvil? yes and I believe it even tells you that it'll go back to the lower level. If it was a GoS anvil then it's a bug
