Alchemist

Alchemist is one of the 18 Jobs available to players. Alchemy may seem daunting to some, but it's easy to master once you know all of the ingredients and their effects. Learning the ingredients is easy for both brewing stands and cauldron brewing. Cauldron brewing will allow you to create even more powerful versions of standard potions. After reaching certain levels of the Alchemist job, you can stack potion effects up to a maximum of three effects per potion.

Alchemists gain money and experience through brewing powerful potions, crafting spirit potions, and using splash potions. /j info Alchemist

Bottle Ammo

At level 5, Alchemist can use glass bottles as ammo for splash heal or harm potions. When throwing these potions, glass bottles in your inventory will be consumed rather than the potion itself. /faq bottleammo In-game.

Cauldron Brewing

After reaching level 10 Alchemist, you have the ability to brew potions using a cauldron. This is known as Cauldron Brewing. Cauldron brewing allows one to make a larger variety of potions. At levels 30 and 40, Alchemists also gain the ability to add second and third ingredients to their cauldron brewed potions. The process for cauldron brewing is detailed below:

  1. Place a cauldron and fill it with water using a bucket.
  2. Add Nether Wart. This will be your base ingredient, as it is needed for all potions in cauldron brewing.
  3. Add your first ingredient (See list below for ingredients).
  4. Add your first modifier. Modifiers are brewed in this order: Purify/Corrupt effect, Glowstone, Redstone, Gunpowder.
  5. Add your second Modifier to the cauldron. At this point, you should have all three sides of the cauldron covered.
  6. Once everything has been added, stir the brew by right-clicking with a stick, bone, or blaze rod.
  7. If you are trying to make a potion with two or three effects, repeat steps 3-5 one or two more times.
  8. Bottle your potion when completed by right-clicking the cauldron with empty bottles.
